Creekside Cafe in Downtown Gahanna is a charming, family-owned diner that truly embodies the hometown feel. My wife and I visited on a busy Friday morning, so the place was packed. To avoid a long wait, we opted to sit at the counter, which was a great choice given the cafe’s cozy size. Despite the rush, the staff was attentive and handled everything with care once they got to us. I ordered the Farmer’s Omelette with a side of redskin potatoes, Texas toast, and an add-on of bacon. I have to say, it was one of the best omelettes I’ve ever had—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and incredibly satisfying. The potatoes were also cooked to perfection. This place is a gem, and I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu! Update: Still good and I also recommend the patty melt & the potatoes....again.
Little bit of a wait getting our food but worth the wait. Nice size portions, potatoes seasoned well.and staff was very friendly.

Always pass this place in the way to get my haircut but usually too late in the day to stop in. Decided to pop in this morning and was not disappointed. $10 for a full breakfast with a glass of OJ. Friendly service, and delicious breakfast food. Highly recommend if you’re in the Creekside area.
Cafe Creekside is a really great place to eat. The inside is very nice, clean, and welcoming, and it has a cozy feel that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal. It’s the kind of place that feels comfortable whether you’re going with friends, family, or just stopping in for yourself. The food was really good and tasted fresh and well made. Everything came out just right, and you could tell they put care into how they make their meals. It’s the kind of food that leaves you satisfied and already thinking about coming back. Overall, I’d give Cafe Creekside 5 stars. Between the nice atmosphere and the good food, it’s a place that’s definitely worth visiting again.
A cute little diner in downtown Gahanna. Not too pricey. Love the breakfast burrito. Got it with chorizo and it was packed with eggs, onions, peppers and sausage. The sliced red potatoes on the side were also really good. Fried fish was delicious. Would definitely come back and eat breakfast or lunch again.
Love love love places like this!! They don't exist anymore and the people are what make it. To many times corporate America destroys main Street and places like this can't compete. Not sure when this place was started but this is classic American 🇺🇸👊🏻 Good old fashion diner where the prices don't break the bank 🏦! ; and people still get treated like people with there super friendly attentive staff. Plus the decore rocks, local artist! 🤟🏻
The ultimate all-around diner. Affordable, delicious, cozy, and primed right by the best walking trail loop to sift through the huge portions of food. The Mexican Scramble is our new fave, someone knows what good chorizo is here!
